In which languages is EdCommerce available?
We currently have EdCommerce translated into 11 languages: English, Spanish from Spain, Spanish from Latin America, Portuguese from Portugal, Portuguese from Brazil, French, Italian, Korean German, Japanese, Turkish.
Should you require your EdCommerce translated into another language, please raise this request with your Edvisor Account Manager.
How many sites can I create on my EdCommerce?
You can create unlimited pages within your EdCommerce platform.
We have designed a scalable platform that allows you to have specific sites for your sub-agents, commercial alliances, targeted campaigns like Black Friday, or even create different pages for your student expos.
How many users can I have on my EdCommerce account?
You can add unlimited users to your EdCommerce platform at no extra cost.
Additionally, students have the ability to create unlimited accounts for generating quotes and making bookings on your site. Each time a student creates an account, it will be captured as a lead.
What integrations are available with EdCommerce?
We currently offer our own integrations at no extra cost, allowing you to send email notifications, SMS, conduct video calls, and securely store your database.
You can also connect external platforms such as Google Analytics, Instagram or Facebook by integrating a snippet code into your site.

Through this scripts functionality, you can also integrate chatbots and other marketing tools.
*It's important to note that the proper functioning of these integrations relies on the technology of third parties and their compatibility with your EdCommerce platform.
What communication channels are available for me to talk to students on EdCommerce?
Email: You can create customized emails that are automatically sent when a user submits their information or makes a reservation. Learn how in this tutorial.
Chat: The chat feature provided by EdCommerce allows students to message you via live chat.
Video calls can also be conducted if necessary. Alternatively, you have the option to integrate your WhatsApp Business account instead of using our live chat.

Notifications: Our platform includes a notification system that enables you to send messages through email, SMS, and chat.
To send notifications, simply access the visitors' table and choose the preferred method that suits your needs.

Is it possible to establish a default currency for prices displayed to students on EdCommerce?
Yes, you can set a default currency for the prices displayed on your EdCommerce platform.
To do this, go to Ecommerce > Ecommerce Details.
From there, you can select the desired currency and language settings that you want to be displayed as default.
Can I set up my own exchange rate on Edcommerce?
The exchange rate is updated automatically. It is obtained directly from your Edvisor account.
How can I obtain the API key for my Edvisor account?
To obtain your API key, you will need to reach out to your designated contact person at Edvisor. They will provide you with the API key that you can use to connect EdCommerce with your Edvisor account, and import your providers and programs.
Programs, Services and Providers
Can I modify the prices of the educators connected on EdCommerce through the Edvisor API?
Can I create a provider on EdCommerce that is not linked to my Edvisor account?
The providers in EdCommerce are linked to the ones set up in your Edvisor account, so you can only have on EdCommerce, the providers that are available on Edvisor.
There are several reasons for this requirement, such as utilizing a global exchange rate, accessing real-time dynamic prices, and ensuring the synchronization of quotations and bookings between EdCommerce and your Edvisor account.
Can I change the 'Type of Course' section? i.e. Instead of 'Language,' can I use something like 'Language Courses'?
Unfortunately, these a names are used globally on Edvisor and cannot be changed.
Can I add a course or program to different categories?
No, program categorization is done globally on Edvisor and it can't be modified by our users.
What types of providers can I create on EdCommerce?
EdCommerce is built to sell education programs online, but you can also include additional fees and services as add-ons, to cross sell and increase your average ticket.
You can import all your existing education providers from your Edvisor account into your EdCommerce platform.
Additionally, if you wish to create personalized products, you have the option to create packages of courses or international experiences.
For those who want to create unique providers not linked to their Edvisor account, we offer the "packages" feature or the ability to create programs with fixed prices.
Please note that if you create custom programs or providers you won't benefit form real-time price updates or platform synchronization.
To create a new provider or product, please follow these steps.
Leads and Forms
Can I have the leads from my EdCommerce, on my Edvisor platform?
Yes, we automatically sync the leads generated on EdCommerce with your Edvisor platform.
All the leads you generate through EdCommerce will be reflected in both systems, thus ensuring that the contact information remains consistent and up-to-date on your Edvisor account.
This allows you to conveniently follow up with your students on Edvisor.
Could contacts be duplicated in my Edvisor account if they are registered on my EdCommerce platform?
Do I receive a notification when a new lead is captured?
Is it possible to capture a lead before the student books a program?
Yes, if students require more information or want to get in touch, they have the option to fill out the Lead Form (in the Contact section) or utilize the live chat feature.
These options provide a means to capture leads and facilitate your communication with students.
What information is collected in my lead and booking forms? Can I customize the fields?
You have the flexibility to customize the fields on your lead and booking forms according to your own preferences.
By default, we collect:
*Custom fields need to be created on Edvisor to ensure an accurate matching and synchronization of information between both platforms.
Can I integrate my EdCommerce forms with other CRM platforms like Hubspot?
No, EdCommerce forms are currently exclusive to the Edvisor platform.
If you wish to utilize your own CRM, we recommend downloading the lead or booking database in CSV format from your EdCommerce platform, and then importing it into your CRM. This will allow you to manage your data within your CRM system.
Quotations and Bookings
Can I see quotes created by students on my EdCommerce platform, in my Edvisor platform?
Where can I view all the details of a quotation created by a student on EdCommerce?
You can see the full list of quotations created on your EdCommerce in the Quotations section (Edit your EdCommerce Site > Quotations)
To see detailed information about a specific quotation, click on the icon.
Additionally, if you want to view the different quotations made by a specific student, we recommend going to the Visitors section (Edit your EdCommerce Site > Visitors). Click on the student's name and then "quotations". This will enable you to explore the various options quoted by the student.
Can I add extra fees to the quotations created on EdCommerce?
Yes, you have the flexibility to add fees, services, or fixed costs and associate them with specific educators or programs.
To do this, follow these steps:
Do students receive a summary of the services purchased on EdCommerce?
Yes, when a student processes a booking on EdCommerce, they will receive a confirmation email containing a summary of the services they have purchased. This email includes all the relevant personal information and booking details that were provided during the booking process.
You can customize the content of this confirmation email in the email templates section of your EdCommerce platform.
Additionally, the student's bookings will be synchronized with your Edvisor platform, where you can view the status of their bookings as a "Sale". This allows for easy tracking and management of their bookings.
Will fees created in my Edvisor account be reflected in EdCommerce?
There are two ways to add fees:

Can I add automatic replies when a chat request is open?
At the moment, it is not possible to configure automatic replies when a chat request is opened. However, we are constantly working on improving our platform and adding new features, and will consider this for future releases.
In the meantime, you can set your chat availability in the "Availability" section, just go to your EdCommerce settings > Support Chat > Availability
Marketing
Can I add EdCommerce to my website?
You can add EdCommerce to your website, but it cannot be embedded directly.
EdCommerce is a platform that allows you to combine your content website with transactional technology, enhancing your ability to generate qualified leads and bookings.

How can EdCommerce affect my SEO?
EdCommerce does not have a direct positive or negative impact on your SEO.
SEO positioning strategies are particularly effective for the top and middle stages of the marketing funnel. EdCommerce, on the other hand, is a tool created to help you at the bottom of your funnel, capturing students who are interested in obtaining price information and making reservations easily.
EdCommerce is designed to assist you with sales and transactions on your website, not to position you on Google or help you get more traffic.
Additionally, importing texts from educational institutions can result in multiple pages with similar information, which is considered a Black SEO practice that may lead to penalties. To prevent this, EdCommerce is not embedded on your website and our pages are not indexed in Google.
To improve your SEO, our recommendation is to have a comprehensive content strategy. This includes designing recommendations for your students, creating content and blog posts, and producing specialized videos about destinations.
Can I add buttons with specific calls to action in any area of EdCommerce?
We recommend using the 'Nav Bar' option to add calls to action in the main menu.

EdCommerce was designed with a focus on price and transactionability for online sales. We do not recommend adding many calls to actions that divert users away from the e-commerce section, as this may result in a loss of traffic and potential transactions.
