Join Edvisor and a panel of industry leaders for a lively discussion on the Canadian government’s decision to re-open its borders for international students applying to approved schools.
During this webinar, we discuss what this means for schools and agencies as well as the best practices available to make the most of this opportunity for Canadian recruitment.
Latest regulations from the Canadian Government
On Friday 2nd October we received some of the most exciting news our industry had had in months. Canada was opening its borders to international students provided that their Designated Learning Institution (DLI) has an approved COVID-19 readiness plan in place.
Will this change the demand?
We noticed a spike in the student proposals sent to Canada through Edvisor, have our Panelists also noticed an increase in the demand?
The transition from a Covid-19 world to the new normality
How are our panelists adapting to the lack of travel and how are they using Edvisor to bridge that gap? Will our industry go back to what it used to be once the Pandemic is over?

Director of Schools Success at Edvisor
Having grown up as the youngest child in a host family in Edinburgh, Scotland, I have been around international students for as long as I can remember! I followed in the footsteps of my Mum and eldest brother when it came to pursuing a career within international education and have worked in a variety of roles within schools including accommodation, enrolments, marketing, sales, operations, activity leading and teaching! As the Director of School Success here at Edvisor, my team and I look after the schools using the system and help them to get the very best from the platform. I am a terrible golfer, a lover of tacos and very much enjoy hosting discussions with fantastic panelists!
