A New Chapter for Edvisor: Big Changes to How Agencies Work
The platform you use to run your agency just got a lot more powerful. Here's what's new — and what it means for the way your team works.
Running an education agency is one of the most operationally complex jobs in the industry. Every student is a months-long journey across dozens of touchpoints — inquiries, quotes, proposals, payments, documents, visas, follow-ups, enrolments. And most agencies are still stitching that together across spreadsheets, inboxes, and a handful of disconnected tools.
That's the problem Edvisor has been working on since day one. We connect 5,000+ agencies in 80+ countries to 700+ schools with live pricing, branded proposals, payments, insurance, commissions tracking, and a full sales pipeline — all in one place.
But over the past year, we've been listening hard to what's been missing. The agencies that grow fastest on Edvisor aren't just looking for a better quoting tool. They want a platform that runs their whole business — one that automates the busywork, plugs into their website, and tells their counsellors what to do each morning.
Today we're opening the next chapter. A major set of updates is rolling out over the coming weeks, starting May 18. Each one came directly from what agencies have been asking for.
Let Edvisor handle the busywork
Counsellors lose hours every week to the small, repeatable actions that happen around every student journey — sending a welcome email when someone signs up, reminding the team to follow up after a proposal is accepted, kicking off onboarding when a sale closes.
Workflow Automations let you set those up once and let them run. Trigger an action based on any event in your pipeline — new student, accepted proposal, payment received, document uploaded — and chain together emails, reminders, task assignments, and more.
The result: your team spends less time on admin, and nothing falls through the cracks.
Sell anything, even if the school isn't on Edvisor
One of the things we've heard loudest from agencies is that your catalogue extends beyond what's on Edvisor. You sell local programs, niche providers, custom homestay arrangements, and offerings from schools that haven't joined the platform yet.
Now you can list all of it. Create programs, accommodations, and any other products with or without a school link — just type in a provider name and you're ready to quote. You can also create your own custom programs for any of your connected schools, giving you full flexibility over how you package and sell.
Your inventory, your rules. Edvisor becomes the system of record for everything you sell — not just what's on the marketplace.
Capture leads from anywhere
Most agencies have lead capture happening in two or three different places — a contact form on the website, a Google Form for student information, a WhatsApp link in the bio. None of it talks to your pipeline.
The new Forms feature lets you build customisable forms inside Edvisor that flow directly into your student records. Use Edvisor's existing student profile fields, or add your own custom fields for anything unique to your agency. Then share the form however makes sense: embed it on your website, send it as a direct link, or assign it to existing students through the Student Portal.
Every submission lands as a new lead or an updated profile — no copy-pasting, no lost inquiries.
Start every day knowing exactly what to do
When you ask a counsellor what's on their plate today, the honest answer is usually a mix of "I think I have a proposal to send, a deposit to chase, and a document to review — let me check three different tabs." That's not a great way to run a business.
The Activities Hub brings everything together into one prioritised view. Proposals, sales, payments, documents, and tasks — all in one dashboard, sorted by what's overdue, what's due today, and what's coming up. It's the daily starting point that answers the question every counsellor asks each morning: what needs to be done today, and what might I have missed?
Make students active participants in their journey
The best counsellors don't just manage students — they coach them. But manual back-and-forth on document collection, profile updates, and next steps eats up an enormous amount of time.
Student Tasks let counsellors assign tasks directly to students through the Student Portal. The student gets a notification, sees exactly what's needed, and can complete it on their own time. Counsellors stay informed as tasks get done — without sending a single reminder email.
It's a small shift, but it changes the dynamic: students become partners in their own journey, and counsellors get their afternoons back.
What this all means
Each of these features is useful on its own. But the bigger story is what they add up to.
Edvisor is becoming the operating system for your agency. Not just where you build quotes — but where you capture leads, automate workflows, run your day, manage your inventory, and coach your students through to enrolment. One platform, one source of truth, one place your whole team works.
If you've been on Edvisor for a while, the next few weeks are going to feel like a serious upgrade. If you're new here, this is a great moment to take a fresh look at what we do.
